Cancellation Policy

Private Sessions 

We require 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of private sessions. You will be charged the full session fee if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your scheduled session.

Group Reformer Classes

For group reformer classes, we ask for a 12-hour notice for cancellations or reschedules. You will be charged the full class fee if you cancel less than 12 hours before the class.

We have implemented the following cancellation policy to ensure fairness for all clients and efficient studio management.

FAQS

First Timers

  • Arrive 10 minutes before class.

  • If it’s your first time practicing Pilates, sign up for Intro Pilates or Reformer Multilevel, depending on your overall experience in fitness practice.

  • Please sign the waiver form. You are welcome to complete the health intake form to provide additional information about your health and body-related concerns.

Monthly Membership

  • Monthly Membership offers 4/8/12 Pilates Reformer Classes every month for a special rate. You can cancel anytime 15 days before your billing cycle and pause twice a year with 15 days' notification before the date for up to 3 months.

  • A $20 no-show fee will be charged if you do not attend your class and fail to cancel.

  • You also have the option to pause your membership for up to three months with a 15-day notification twice a year; exceptions might apply.

  • We have a 12-hour cancellation policy for all classes.

  • You can cancel the membership with 15 days' notice.

  • For the 8-monthly Pilates Reformer class, you will automatically have one session roll over to your next month.

  • For the 12-monthly Pilates Reformer class, you will automatically have 2 classes roll over to your next month.

  • The month starts on the membership sale date.

Pricing

  • Price doesn’t include 4.5% for NY City State Taxes

  • Price doesn’t include 3% credit card fee

Late Arrival Policy

We have a strict policy regarding late arrivals. Once class has begun, entry is not permitted. However, admission after the start time may be allowed at the instructor’s discretion, provided it does not disrupt the class or compromise safety.

Refund Policy

We offer a 48-hour refund window on all purchases. After this 48-hour period, we are unable to issue refunds. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable.

Expiration dates apply to all classes, packages, and memberships and will not be extended, except in the case of a medical emergency with written documentation.

Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged in full in accordance with our cancellation policies.

If the studio must cancel a class or private session, clients will receive a full credit or the option to reschedule at no additional charge.

To request a refund within the 48-hour window, please email us at info@thegoodpilates.com. Once approved, refunds typically take 2–3 business days to appear on your account. Processing times may vary depending on your credit card issuer.

By purchasing classes, packages, or memberships, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
